Qlean — A Modern Cleaning Services Marketplace

Qlean is a cleaning services marketplace that connects customers with cleaning professionals through booking, offers, communication and service management.

Qlean — پلتفرم بازار خدمات نظافت (Cleaning Services Marketplace)

Qlean is a cleaning services marketplace that gives customers and cleaning professionals one structured path from request to finished job: the customer describes the work, nearby cleaners reply with their own price, and the customer picks the offer they prefer. Chat, job tracking, final approval and ratings all happen inside the same app. Qlean is a Tafakor Pardazan product and is available at qleanapp.ir.

What is Qlean?

Qlean is a cleaning service app made of two separate applications: one for customers, who post requests and receive offers, and one for cleaners, who find open jobs near them, send prices and manage their work. Customers can book six service types: regular cleaning, deep cleaning, office cleaning (offices and stores), post-construction cleaning, carpet washing and move-out cleaning.

The problem Qlean addresses

Booking cleaning services often means several phone calls, repeating the same details, and prices that are hard to compare. Cleaners, in turn, rarely know enough about the space or the customer’s expectations before accepting a job. Qlean structures the process: the job is described once and in full, prices arrive as comparable offers, and every later step is recorded in one place.

The customer experience

Booking wizard

To book cleaning services, the customer goes through a step-by-step booking flow: service type, property type, size, number of rooms, special tasks (such as the oven, fridge or a bathroom deep clean), date and time, address pinned on a map, photos of the space, and a budget. The draft is saved along the way.

Offers from cleaning professionals

Qlean does not use fixed prices. Once a request is submitted, nearby cleaners are notified and can respond with their own price and an optional note. The customer sees who has responded and can open each cleaner’s profile before deciding. If no offer is accepted, the request expires and the customer can post it again.

Choosing a cleaner

Accepting an offer assigns the job to that cleaner. Cleaner profiles show photos of past work and ratings from completed jobs, which gives customers more to go on than a price alone.

Communication and job status

Every booking gets its own chat thread. Users can send photos and share a location, reply to messages, archive conversations, and report or block another user when needed. The cleaner records arrival, start and finish, and the customer is notified at each step. At the end, the customer approves the job or sends it back to the cleaner if something was not right, then leaves a rating and an optional review. Bookings can also be cancelled with a reason.

Tools for cleaning professionals

Cleaners use a dedicated Qlean app. They sign up with a mobile number, complete a profile with a photo, and upload an image of their national ID card; an admin reviews the application before full access is granted.

Once approved, a cleaner sets their location on a map and goes online to see open jobs nearby. Each request shows the customer’s budget and how much time is left to respond. Cleaners can send their own price with a note, or decline jobs that do not suit them. Profiles also work as a portfolio: cleaners post photos of their work and other users can follow them.

The cleaning marketplace

The marketplace is the second way to find a cleaner. Cleaners publish listings for their free time slots, including a title, description, available dates, daily working hours, service area and travel radius, and whether travel costs are included. Customers can browse listings near them or book directly from a cleaner’s profile.

Wallet and related features

Every Qlean account has a wallet with a top-up balance and a detailed transaction history. Cleaners use their wallet balance to feature their marketplace listings so they appear first.

Notifications are configurable: offers, approvals and booking changes, chat messages and profile activity are separate categories, and each one can be switched on or off in settings.

An installable web app

Qlean is a mobile-first web app. It can be used in the browser or installed on the phone’s home screen like a native app, with no app store download required. Sign-in uses a mobile number and a 6-digit SMS code, so there is no password to remember. The whole app works in English and Persian, with a right-to-left layout and Solar Hijri dates in Persian.

Tafakor Pardazan’s role

Qlean was developed as a Tafakor Pardazan product. The core challenge was designing a two-sided marketplace in which both customers and cleaners get a clear, trustworthy experience. Areas the product design focuses on:

  • An offer-and-accept flow instead of fixed pricing, with automatic expiry for unanswered requests
  • Separate customer and cleaner apps sharing a single job lifecycle
  • Cleaner verification with admin review
  • A dedicated chat for every booking, with reporting and blocking tools
  • Marketplace listings and a wallet for featuring them
  • An installable, bilingual web app with full right-to-left support
